Electronic Cigarettes
Based on your personal view, smoking may be considered as a pastime or a habit or a vice of millions of people. The eligible age for smoking has been on the decline in both male and female and youths not even in their teens yet have already developed a taste for it. Quite recently a youtube video made its rounds of a 3 year old puffing away as if he's an adult.
However, teenager smoking can be attributed to peer pressure to the point that you're seen as an outcast if you don't smoke. But invariably each and every person is responsible for their own health. Lung cancer has been attributed to smoking tobacco but it appears that the masses are steering away from tobacco but embracing something that may be worse; e-cigarettes.

Flavoured tobacco drops and vapes.
E-Cigarettes have become very popular very quickly and has attracted a large group of teenagers into smoking. The cloud that bellows from their mouths seems to be the main attraction as many find that really impressive. The multiple flavours of liquids available to smokers seem to be another attraction and the fact that it's an electronic device, seems to be the third attraction. But, like they say... smoking is out... vaping is in.
Vaping has thus become the new norm, a form of "pseudo smoking" and believed by many to be less harmful than tobacco. But is it? Vaping shops have opened all over and many are into making custom vaping tools. Yep, that what they call it.. a tool. As a consequence, millions are selling spare parts, accessories, and enlarged versions of these tools with batteries capable of keeping a cell phone charged for a week. It's these batteries that provide the power to the heating element that vaporizes the liquid that creates the smoke that these vapours are going all gaga about. Never giving an inkling about the health hazards it may or may not present.
It's been several years since its introduction and in itself became an industry with several brand names that just dominated it. Names like Twist, Clearo, Tyko, Grey, Arcus and Cumulus, etc... bringing about a new terminology for its products like, airflow pen style, small footprint, big tank, e-liquid aka vape juice, atomizer, clouds, coil, heat-conductor, element. vapour, wick, vaper, and so much more.
But it will be short-lived, as the technology window of opportunity is always closing... slowly but still closing. In fact, vaping is on the verge of becoming extinct as Governments globally are looking at shutting it down. Perhaps due to lack of tax revenue received from the vaping industry. Technologies that will replace vaping tools will become smaller, with more electronics, perhaps even software-based.
It may even become an autonomous robotic syringe strapped to your arm or neck, capable of measuring your blood nicotine level sampled from perspiration. It will then inject the correct level of nicotine directly into your bloodstream, thus giving you your required dosage of euphoria, but without the need to burn, inhale or smoke anything. It would certainly reduce the world's carbon footprint while putting some people on a permanent high.
